DIY Eyelash Growth Serum Two Ways

image

Looking to make your eyelashes grow longer and thicker? Look no further! Below are two ways you can use everyday products to make your own DIY eyelash growth serum instead of blowing cash on expensive products.

1. VASELINE + ALOE (optional)
Yep that’s right. Plain old petroleum jelly.
What you’re going to do is really simple. Take a small empty jar and fill it with Vaseline. With a q-tip, mix the Vaseline so it can have a creamier/runnier consistency. You can stop here or you can mix in two drops of aloe gel. Apply every night.

How to apply?
Apply with clean fingers on lash line or with a q-tip. You can also apply directly onto lashes with a clean mascara wand before bed

Benefits?
Moisturizes, lengthens and thickens.Vaseline helps your lashes grow stronger and softens the skin around your eyelids, while aloe heals and nurtures the skin around your eyes.

2.TEA TREE OIL or VITAMIN E OIL + ALOE
Using another clean empty container, fill it with aloe gel and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil or Vitamin E oil (I used tea tree in mine). Mix using a q-tip. Apply this every other night.

Benefits?
Promotes growth, lengthens, moisturizes and thickens. If you have trouble growing your eyelashes or if they fall out easily, you may have a mild infection. In this case, use tea tree oil to promote growth. Alternatively, if your skin is sensitive you can use Vitamin E oil to accelerate eyelash growth. At the same time, aloe will heal and nurture the skin around your eyes.

Note: Do not use an eyelash curler while trying to grow your lashes. Mascara is okay.
